Best Time to Visit

Except for the Monsoon season (Mid-June to September), any month of the year is a suitable time to go to this trek as we will walk in the lower belt of the mountain. During the winter season, we may get snow on the trail.

Regarding the weather, the unpredictable weather pattern of mountains can cause frequent changes in the weather of specific places. Before trekking, we will inform the estimated weather pattern and temperature for the trekking period during the briefing session.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a beautiful garland of seasonal flowers at the gate of the International Arrival Terminal.
With the final counting and loading of luggage into the vehicle, you will transfer to the hotel and check in.

After welcome refreshments, there will be a short briefing with the Infusion Trip Adventure Representative. You will get general information and orientation about the tour or trek.

Then you have free time in Kathmandu. You can explore the city.

In the evening – welcome dinner and traditional show in an authentic Nepali restaurant in Kathmandu. You will enjoy your dinner with different types of dances.

Day 02: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,500m/4,920ft)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start a scenic drive to Syabrubesi for about 6 hours. For the first 1 hour, we will drive uphill to the Gurje Pass exit Kathmandu Valley and descend towards Trishuli of Nuwakot. The road is blacktopped.

Following the Aakhu River and Trishuli River, we will reach Betrawati and enter Rasuwa. After driving for 3 hours, we will reach Dhunche and descend to Shyabrubesi. Upon arrival at Syabrubesi, check into the lodge and explore the place.

Day 03: Trek to Gatlang (2,280m/7,478ft)

This is the first day of trekking begins from Syabrubesi to Gatlang for about 6 hours. The trail takes us to a viewpoint with a stunning view of Ganesh Himal, Sishapangma, Langtang Lirung, Gosainkunda ranges and other snow-capped peaks. Along the trail, we will see numerous Buddhist Stupas, Chortens and mani walls. After walking for 50 minutes, we will reach Goljung village and stop for lunch. In our free time, we will explore the village. Then continue walking for 2 hours, and we will reach Gatlang village. It is a beautiful Tamang settlement with cultural richness. After a warm welcome at the village, we will explore the village lifestyles, culture, traditions and popular landmarks including a 100-year-old Tamang Monastery and the sacred lake, Parvati Kunda.

Day 04: Trek to Somdang (3,270m/10,728ft)

Leaving the traditional Tamang village of Gatlang, the trail gently climbs through terraced fields, dense forests of pine and rhododendron, and quiet alpine meadows to the top of Khurpu Pass (3,720m/12,202ft). Along the way, we will enjoy peaceful mountain landscapes and occasional views of surrounding hills and snow-capped peaks. The trek is mostly scenic and culturally rich journey through the heart of the Langtang region. As the trail descends from the pass, it leads to Somdang, a small settlement known for its old zinc mine and beautiful highland scenery. The walk is moderate and less crowded, making it perfect for trekkers who want to experience authentic village life, untouched nature, and a calm trekking atmosphere.

Day 05: Trek to Tipling (2,050m/6,726ft) via Pangsang Pass (3,864m/12,675ft)

After breakfast, start to trek towards Tipling. The trail goes slowly uphill across open meadows and quiet landscapes until reaching Pangsang Pass (3,864m/12,675ft). From the top of the pass, you can enjoy wide views of famous mountain ranges like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Annapurna on clear days. Crossing the pass, the trail goes downhill through forests and grassy hills, making the walk more relaxed. The day ends at Tipling, a traditional village where we can explore the local culture and lifestyles. This trek is a bit long but very rewarding, with amazing views and calm nature.

Day 06: Trek to Chalish Gaon (1,700m/5,578ft)

This day, the trek will be an easy and enjoyable through the beautiful Ruby Valley. After leaving Tipling, the trail goes gently up and down through forests, terraced fields, and traditional Tamang villages. We will enjoy stunning views of green hills, small rivers, and quiet countryside along the way. Prayer flags, small chortens, and friendly local people make the walk calm and peaceful.

After a few hours of walking, you reach Chalis Gaon, and check into the homestay. The rest of the day is free to explore the village.

Day 07: Trek to Hindung (2,100m/6,890ft)

After breakfast, begin the trek towards Hindung. The trail gently ascends and descends along forest paths, terraced fields, and small rural settlements. We will pass through rhododendron and pine forests, cross local streams, and enjoy quiet natural surroundings throughout the day. As we approach Hindung, the landscape opens to beautiful views of surrounding hills and distant snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival at Hindung, we will explore the villages,  experience local culture, simple mountain life, and warm hospitality.

Day 08: Trek to Chyau Chyat Camp (3,750m/12,304ft)

Leaving the human settlement areas, we begin the trek towards Chyau Chat Camp. The trail gently goes uphill through pine and rhododendron forests, with fresh air and quiet surroundings. Along the way, we may see yaks and cattle grazing in open fields, which adds a nice mountain feeling to the walk. As we continue, the forest becomes thinner and wide grassy meadows appear. When we reach Chyau Chyat Camp, we can enjoy the open landscape, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful views, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stop for the day. We  will also be able to see waterfalls cascading down through the valley.

Day 09: Trek to Ganesh Himal Base Camp (4,100m/13,452ft)

This day, the trek is a short but exciting walk into the high Himalayan zone. Leaving Thulodhunga, the trail gradually climbs over rocky paths and open terrain, with fewer trees as we go higher. The air feels cooler and the views become wider, showing surrounding hills, glaciers, and snow-covered peaks. As we approach Ganesh Himal Base Camp, the landscape turns rugged and dramatic, with ice, rocks, and towering mountains all around. Reaching the base camp is a special moment, offering a peaceful atmosphere and unforgettable close-up views of the Ganesh Himal range.

Day 10: Backtrack to Hindung (2,100m/6,890ft)

Early morning, wakeup to get the sunrise view over Ganesh Himal Ranges. After breakfast, start to retrace the trail towards Hindung via Thulodhunga. Walking downhill makes the journey easier, and we can once again enjoy the beautiful views of mountains, forests, and open landscapes. The rugged high-altitude scenery slowly changes into grassy meadows and then into forested paths. As we return to Hindung, the peaceful village atmosphere, green surroundings, and warm local hospitality make it a comfortable and pleasant place to rest after the high mountain adventure.

Day 11: Trek to Borang (1,600m/5,250ft)

After breakfast, begin the trek towards Borang via Chalish Gaun. The trail gently climbs and descends through forests, terraced fields, and small streams. We will enjoy peaceful nature and beautiful hill views along the way. After a few hours, you reach Chalish Gaon, a traditional Tamang village where you can see local life, stone houses, and smiling villagers.

From Chalish Gaon, the trail enters to Ruby Valley and continues downhill toward Borang, passing farmland, rhododendron forests, and rural settlements. The walk is comfortable and scenic, with chances to interact with locals and learn about their culture. After we arrive at Borang, we will explore the village.

Day 12: Trek to Dhundure Khola (950m/3,117ft)

After breakfast, begin the trek down to Dhundure Khola. The trail mostly goes downhill through quiet forests with a few gentle ups and downs. We will walk passing small fields, forest paths, and simple herder huts, enjoying the calm surroundings and fresh mountain air. After a few hours of walking, we will reach Dhundure Khola, a nice riverside place where we can rest and listen to the sound of the flowing water. This is a short and relaxed trekking day, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty and local atmosphere.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

After breakfast, meet the awaiting vehicle and start to drive back to Kathmandu via Dhadingbesi. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and check in. You will have time to relax after the long journey, breathe easily and just rest at your hotel before completing your Himalayan Adventure with us.

Day 14: Transfer to International Airport for final departure.

Timely transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport to board an onward flight to home country 3 hours earlier than the scheduled flight departing time. We wish you a happy journey during your flight from Nepal to your home country with the hope to see you on your next visit to Nepal.
