Best Season
Spring Season (March-May) and Autumn Season (September to Early December) are considered as the best time to go this trek as we can expect mild temperature in the day and night and clear blue sky. However, the unpredictable weather pattern of mountain can cause frequent changes in the weather of specific places. Before trekking, we will inform the estimated weather pattern and temperature for trekking period during briefing session.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a beautiful garland of seasonal flowers at the gate of the International Arrival Terminal. With the final counting and loading of luggage into the vehicle, you will transfer to the hotel and check in.
After welcome refreshments, there will be a short briefing with the Infusion Trip Adventure Representative. You will get general information and orientation about the tour or trek. Then you have free time in Kathmandu. You can explore the city.
In the evening – welcome dinner and traditional show in an authentic Nepali restaurant in Kathmandu. You will enjoy your dinner with different types of dances.

Day 02: Trek Preparation Day
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City including the World Heritage Sites. It includes a tour of two sites below:
Pashupatinath Temple – the Temple of Lord Shiva situated on the bank of the holy Bagmati River. The temple is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bouddhanath Stupa– an ancient colossal stupa and the center of Tibetan Buddhism in the world
The rest of the day is free for trekking preparation, such as trekking gear shopping, packing on a duffle bag, etc. Moreover, we will assist you to get Permits of Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Permit, TIMS Card.

Day 03: Drive to Besisahar (805m/2,625ft) en route white water rafting
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start a scenic drive to Charaudi via Prithvi Highway to Dumre Bazar and take a diversion to Besisahar.
En-route we will stop at Charaudi for white water rafting. The rafting will commence after a safety briefing and demonstration related to rafting under the professional rafting guides.
Initially, we begin with small rapids and soon catch the bigger ones.
After the rafting ends, we will continue our drive towards Besisahar where we can enjoy the views of Lamjung and Annapurna Himalayas and the natural scenic surroundings of the valley bustling with the daily activities of the local people.
Upon arrival at Besisahar, check into the hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Chame (2,680m/8,793ft)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue driving in the mountain road towards Chame. As most of the ancient trekking trail has been collapsed by the motor able road, we will drive up-to Chame considering the altitude sickness. The road drive following the Marshyangdi River itself an adventure journey, but don’t need to get afraid. The whole journey will be on a private 4WD Jeep.
Though we drive, we will not skip out the authentic hospitality of local people en route our journey. We will stop flexibly to explore the local area of Jagat, Dharapani, Koto and the cascading Chamche Waterfall & Octopus Waterfall. As we reach higher, we will get change in the vegetation and landscapes.
As we reach Chame, the headquarters of the Manang district, we will be rewarded by the glimpse of Annapurna II. After check-in at lodge we will explore Chame with natural hot springs.

Day 05: Trek to Upper Pisang (3,310m/10,856ft)
After delicious breakfast, we begin our walk through the dense forest. This day, we will walk in the mixed trail (few portions in motor able road) half and as soon we reach to Dhukur Pokhari, we will take a walking trail towards Upper Pisang. As we cross the suspension bridge, we will find the changes in vegetations, less trees with shorter in heights. After walking for couple of hours, we will reach Upper Pisang. Along the way, we will get the stunning view of Pisang’s northeast peak and Annapurna II. After check into the lodge, we will explore the local monasteries and villages of Upper Pisang.

Day 06: Trek to Ngawal (3,660m/12,008ft)
This day, leaving Upper Pisang, we will take the upper trail which can be longer route. Along the way, we will get the magnificent view of north face of Annapurna II, III, IV, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Gangapurna. As we go higher, we will enter to arid landscapes where we can get pinewood trees. En route, we will get a view of serene Green Lake (Mring Lake). The trail passing through the higher altitude lead us to the charming village of Ghyaru and further walking with the beautiful view of Marshyangri Gorge will takes us to Ngawal Village. Upon arrival at Ngawal, check into the lodge and explore the village experiencing the local lifestyles, cultures and traditions.

Day 07: Trek to Manang (3,550m/11,648)
This day, the trek descends through high hills and forested trails. Upon reaching picturesque Bhraka village, we’ll take a break to explore its traditional houses, local school, mani walls, and Bhraka Monastery—one of Nepal’s oldest and most revered Buddhist shrines.
Bhraka Monastery—also spelled Braga Monastery—is one of the oldest and most culturally significant Buddhist sites in the Manang region of Nepal. Estimated to be over 500 years old, this Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) Tibetan Buddhist monastery is believed to have been established by monks migrating from Tibet, and it remains a spiritual hub for the local community. Trekkers are welcome to visit, meditate, or quietly observe the prayer sessions. Climbing to the monastery offers not only spiritual enrichment but also breathtaking panoramic views of the Manang valley and surrounding peaks like Annapurna II and III.
After spending a couple of hours here, we’ll continue our trek toward Manang and check into a local lodge. In the evening, we will hike to Gangapurna Lake.

Day 08: Rest and Acclimatization day at Manang (3,550m / 11,648ft)
As per the study on high altitude sickness, it has been found that most people suffer or show signs of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) from an altitude of 14,000 ft. Thus it is highly recommended to have a rest day to acclimatize at this altitude before starting an ascent. This day, we will hike to Ice Lake (4,620m/15,158ft) for acclimatization. On the way, Blue sheep and even snowcapped leopards, sometimes magically appear.

Day 09: Trek to Shree Kharka (4,070m/13,350ft)
From Manang (3,550 m), the trail heads west, leaving behind the bustling village and following a path across a suspension bridge over the Jharsang Khola. The route gradually ascends through old Manang, offering sweeping views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna, before reaching the traditional stone-built settlement of Khangsar (3,734 m). After a short rest here, the path climbs steadily across open hillsides dotted with juniper bushes until you arrive at Sirikharka (4,060 m). On the way, we will get the gorgeous views of Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu.

Day 10: Trek to Tilicho Lake Base Camp (4,140m/13,580 ft)
After breakfast, start to walk towards Tilicho Lake Base Camp. The journey is quite a short walk, however the trail passes via Landslide prone areas with narrow trails. We should be extra precautious for falling debris.
The trail passes with spectacular scenery of mountains and landscapes featuring the view of Tilicho Peak. Upon arrival at Tilicho Lake Base Camp, check into the lodge and have an early dinner. The next day, as we will start to walk early, we will have a bed rest quite early than other days.

Day 11: Excursions of Tilicho Lake and backtrack to Shree Kharka (4,070m/13,350ft)
Early morning, wake up and start to walk with a steep ascent toward the world’s highest lake, Tilicho Lake (4,919 m). The initial section is a zigzag climb along a rocky slope, gradually revealing the surrounding snow-capped peaks with striking turquoise waters framed by the towering Tilicho Peak and adjacent ridgelines.
After spending time at the Tilicho Lake Viewpoint (5,010m/16438ft) to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and capture photographs, we will retrace your steps back to the base camp for a quick rest and lunch. The journey then continues downhill toward Shree Kharka (4,070 m), passing through landslide-prone slopes and barren high-altitude landscapes. The descent offers changing perspectives of the Annapurna range, with occasional sightings of blue sheep or Himalayan birds. Arriving at Siri Kharka, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest in this peaceful, less crowded settlement.

Day 12: Trek to Ledar (4,220m/13,846ft)
From Siri Kharka (4,060 m), the trail begins with a gradual descent through alpine meadows and scattered juniper shrubs, leading to the traditional Upper Khangsar village, known for its stone houses and colorful prayer flags fluttering against the backdrop of Annapurna III and Gangapurna. After a short break in Khangsar, the path ascends gently toward Yak Kharka (4,050 m), following the upper ridge of the Marsyangdi Valley. This section offers stunning panoramic views and occasional sightings of grazing yaks and blue sheep. From Yak Kharka, it is another 45 minutes to 1 hour of gradual uphill walking along a well-defined trail to reach Ledar (4,200 m), a small cluster of teahouses providing a peaceful high-altitude stop for the night. The entire journey typically takes 5–6 hours, allowing trekkers to enjoy the scenery while adjusting to the altitude in preparation for the next day for high-altitude trek.

Day 13: Trek to Thorong High Camp (4,880m/16,011ft)
After having breakfast, start the trek to Thorung High Camp. From Ledar, the trail climbs along the east bank of the Jarsang Khola towards Thorung High Camp. The trail leads through rugged high-altitude terrain with breathtaking alpine scenery and increasing altitude, requiring slow and steady pacing for proper acclimatization. The view of Chula West, Gangapurna, Khatung Kang, will welcome us at Thorung High Camp. On the way, we may see yak herds and blue sheep.
Upon arrival at High Camp, we will have dinner early and have rest and preparation for next days.
If there is any symptoms of High Altitude Sickness seen, then we will stop at Thorung Phedi.

Day 14: Trek to Muktinath (3670m/12041ft) via Thorung La Pass (5,416m/17,764ft)
Early morning, we will wake up early at around 4 am and begin our trek to avoid high winds and have safe crossing of pass. This day, the walk will be longer and challenging as we will walk crossing Thorung La Pass, one of the highest passes in the world. Climbing slowly and steadily for 4 hours with the pleasant view of Annapurna massif will lead us to the top of Thorung La Pass where prayer flags (Chhortens) are kept with the signboard of appraisal.
From the top we will see the Yakgawa Kang or Thorungse (6481m) to the north and Khatung Kang (6484) to the south and the Annapurnas along with the Gangapurna to the southeast. In the horizon to the west, Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Mount Tukuche (6920m) are also visible.
Time and weather permits, we will explore the high-altitude lake nearby to the pass. (Most of the trekkers have missed to explore this lake.)
Spending a rewarding moment at Thorung Lake, we will continue walking down towards Muktinath – a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhist.
Later check into the lodge and have a rest and relaxation.

Day 15: Drive from Muktinath (3,760m / 12,623ft) to Jomsom and Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft)
After breakfast, meet the waiting vehicle and star a scenic drive towards Kagbeni and Jomsom. At Kagbeni, we will explore the town. Following Kaligandaki River, we will drive down towards Jomsom and further towards Marpha which is a Thakali village known for its apple orchards and apple brandy. The traditional flat mud roofed houses with neatly stacked piles of firewood characterize the village. Marpha’s unique characteristics include wood-carved windows, long main streets with spotless flagstones, and paved alleys.
After lunch at Marpha, continue drive towards Tatopani. On the way, we will explore the world’s deepest George at Dana and Rupse Waterfall. Upon arrival at Tatopani, check into the lodge and enjoy natural hot spring bath. Today, we will get the changes in landscape and vegetations from the arid landscape to lush green hills.

Day 16: Trek to Ghorepani (2,874m/9,426ft)
After breakfast, begin the journey to Ghorepani. The trail initially follows a gentle path alongside the Kali Gandaki River before turning steeply uphill to the charming village of Ghara (1,700m), where we will get a view of terraced fields and traditional stone houses. The trails also offers stunning views of countryside with Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. As we reach Sikha village, we will have a lunch break and continue to walk uphill through lush forests of rhododendrons and pines. After walking for 2 hours, we will reach Ghorepani, a beautiful Gurung village surrounded by forest, known for its panoramic mountain views.

Day 17: Excursion to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,530ft) and trek to Tadapani (2,540m/8,330ft)
Early morning excursion to Poon Hill (3210m), one of the best Himalayas viewpoints in Nepal, provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. The spectacular panorama stretches from Dhaulagiri I (8,167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiuchhuli (6,441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). Gangapurna (7454m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre 6997m) make your breath and eyes. Watching the beautiful sunrise is a defining moment with lots of pleasure and tranquillity.
After breakfast, our trek to Tadapani starts. A short early morning climb to the Deurali passes for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. The trail descends steeply through the dense moss-covered forest with rich bird life to Tadapani.

Day 18: Trek to Ghandruk (2,030mm/6,658ft)
After having breakfast, start to trek to Ghandruk through rhododendron forests. We can see a wide variety of birds along the way. The steep descent trail crossing the streams takes us to Ghandruk, the second-largest Gurung village in Nepal. Explore the maze-like streets of this thriving Gurung settlement and enjoy a good mountain view of Annapurna South and Fishtail.

Day 19: Trek Kimche (1,690m/5,544ft) and drive to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)

Day 20: Sightseeing tour in Pokhara with leisure time for Adventure Activities

Day 21: Fly Back to Kathmandu
