Lobuche East Peak (6,119m) is one of the popular climbing peaks, which is located in the Everest Region of eastern Nepal. Though it requires experience and technical information, most climbers prefer to climb this peak as it offers the vibes of mountaineering that demand the use of climbing gears including jumar, ascenders, ATC devices, ice-axe and other equipment.
The successful summit of Lobuche East not only takes the climber to an elevation above 6000m but also, rewards with a panoramic view of the world’s 8000-meter peaks including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Amadablam, Cholatse, Pumori and many more.
This 18-day program also combines the Everest Base Camp Trek that leads to the base camp of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest (8,848.86m). The Nepal Himalayas are best seen on this trek as one traces the main route through the Khumbu region from the Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar. The trekkers get a close view of the world’s greater mountains such as Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, and Tawache. En route, traverse through rhododendrons and pine forests, rivers, Sherpa villages and Buddhist Monasteries from temperate to snow-line regions.
